Cheap ice cream, 5$ roast pork head at No #1 Barbecue - nga gi paksiw to perfection -- beef bones in tomato sauce, the pochero recipe we look forward to on weekends and creamy Sara Lee desserts with Coke regular chug-a-lugs, ahhhh.
That is the diet that brought me down into the doors of the Green Prescription team of Glen Innes. Any 40 something, with an 8-hour desk job, who counts walking to and from the bus stop as exercise will one day get into a new lifestyle change or will meet and greet St. Peter at the pearly white gates earlier than expected. |

It is my third winter in Auckland and I swear to myself that I won't let the seemingly, never-ending cloudy days let me down. I have therefore compiled some sort of list that I go over each day to remind me that “Attitude means Everything”. I will not allow the dreariness of the cold dampen my spirits, despite the challenge of waking up every day

EDSA 1 would be the closest I could get to experience "Philippine Independence". I was 19 then. I remembered our kitchen supply cabinet was filled with noodles, rice, corned beef, sardines, and eggs that seemed odd. My dad told me that the helicopters that were hovering the skies were waiting for instructions
