letting goTwenty one years and counting….married life has been an exciting journey for me. It may not be the perfect one but I can vividly recall the highlights (ups and downs).  Starting out as a couple seemed like climbing the steepest mountain with tasks too daunting. To recall a few  scenarios …..
 
In Laws…… Calling my mom-in-law as “mama” seemed like a tongue twister… For the relatives and siblings, more so, attaching “manang” and “manoy” or “tio” and “tia” was just testing the waters especially that they are unfamiliar people. Take note, as a “newbie” only the wife/husband is the only familiar face among the clan members…

babybornComing home from an afternoon shift always keep my adrenaline pumping until an hour or so when my metabolism tends to slow down in anticipation of a well rested night. It was my third day at work and I was not feeling well due to recurrent colds and cough, winter chills, malaise, wheeze. I decided to take time off for the next few days. parksIt is indeed amazing how God conceptualize the creation of the world and its first inhabitants.  Life was so simple back then. Man relies on hunting and fishing for subsistence while animals feed on plants and lower forms of animals to survive. There was a balance in the ecosystem.
