The most haunting longing for most Filipino migrants peaks on Christmas. In the midst of one of the most joyous occasion of Christendom, one feels the yearning for those whose warmth can only be relived in one’s memory.
I am no exception. Christmas Eve in our humble Cebu residence was a riot of sorts. It was a culmination of months of planning and preparation. Execution had to be perfect as it will be a sacrilege to do otherwise. |
